Martin Parr
Martin Parr (*1952) studied photography at Manchester Polytechnic from 1970 to 1973 and is today one of the most important and influential photographers in Great Britain. As early as 1990, his work was shown in the exhibition "British Photography. From The Thatcher Years" at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. He has been a member of "Magnum Photos" since 1994. In Bristol, he founded the Martin Parr Foundation in 2017.
