Mohamed Hassan

Mohamed Hassan (*1984) was born in Alexandria. His journey with photography started already in Egypt, where he helped his father who worked as a professional wedding photographer. In 2007, he moved to Great Britain and settled in Wales. In 2016, he graduated in photography from Carmarthen School of Art. Some Scholarships allowed him to devote himself fully to his chosen profession.

Next to his landscape photographs, he is doing portraits dealing with identity, mgration, home and community.

At our collection we hold four portraits of people holding daffodils – the symbol of Wales.
